Cover the long but scenic 560 km stretch from Jaipur to the Golden City of Jaisalmer in around 10 to 11 hours with a private, air-conditioned taxi. The route runs west via Jodhpur, taking you deep into the Thar Desert as the landscape turns increasingly golden and sparse the further you travel — a journey best undertaken in a comfortable vehicle with an experienced long-distance driver.

The one-way service is suitable for travellers planning to explore the Golden City's fort, havelis and the Sam Sand Dunes just beyond town. Given the distance, we recommend an early morning start, and drivers are happy to build in proper meal and rest breaks along the way to keep the journey comfortable.
